Q. What is the difference between T-Shock and Cryoskin?
A. Nothing. They’re the same machine but with different marketing. We’ve been trained by both T-Shock and Cryoskin so we have learned all the most cutting edge information.
Q. What are CryoFacials?
A. Uses cold temperatures to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves skin elasticity. Can help to reduce rosacea, pain, redness, and inflammation. ‘Facelift’ helps to look your best for special events. 3 days prior is the recommendation. (30 minute session | $179 | 5-Pack - $749)
Q. What is CryoSlimming?
A. Reduces fat cells with diet, exercise, hydration and consistent treatments (between 5-10). (45-60 minute session)
Q. What is CryoToning?
A. Tightens skin in fat loss areas, brings out definition and reveals more toning. (45-60 minute session). Toning can also reduce the visibility of cellulite permanently.
Q: How does T-Shock work? A. Slimming works by freezing fat cells and moving them through the lymphatic system. Fat removal is permanent as long as healthy habits are maintained and is great for stubborn patches of fat. Toning works by tightening the skin and increasing the visibility of definition.
Q: How does the Cryo T-Shock treatment feel?
A. The treatment is usually painless since it utilizes a massage technique! You may feel tingling sensations in the area worked on. Sessions typically begin with a skin warming session w/ Some clients describe it as a rather pleasant massage that develops into a nap during the appointment.
Q: What are the benefits of the Cryo T-Shock treatment?
A. The most obvious result based on how the technology works is fat loss and reduction of fat cells, yet the benefits may extend far beyond that. Depending on the area and application, Cryo T-Shock can promote firmer and tighter skin, therapeutic benefits through the alleviation of issues like bloating and constipation, anti-aging, a face lift, Couperose Skin which addresses Rosacea, provide acne treatment, drainage of water retention, and muscle relaxation.
Q: Is Cryo T-Shock the same as cool sculpting?
A: No. There are many differences between the two procedures.
First, there is the difference in how both procedures feel. During the CoolSculpting procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, itching, tugging, mild pinching, aching and cramping at the treatment site due to vacuum technology. After treatment the majority of clients will experience soreness, bruising and/or redness in the treated areas as well as Paradoxical hyperplasia (visibly enlarged tissue volume in the treated area) which may develop two to five months after treatment and requires surgical intervention for correction.
Unlike Cryo T-Shock, CoolSculpting may be difficult to perform on certain body parts such as the face and joints due to the machine being one size. Furthermore, the therapeutic benefits associated with CoolSculpting may not be present with CoolSculpting because of the inability to deliver hot as well as cold temperatures.
Finally, according to the CoolSculpting website the cost can range anywhere from $2000 - $4000 per treatment. Cryo T-Shock treatments are on average between $250 - $400 per treatment.
Q: What can clients do to ensure maximum results from T-shock?
A: Maintain good dietary habits, drink sufficient water (usually around 80oz-100oz depending on the person), and participate in light physical activity during recovery from the treatment. On the day of treatment, a vigorous workout for at least 30 minutes AFTER the treatment will facilitate lymphatic drainage and quicker results while Whole Body Cryotherapy IMMEDIATELY after the treatment to promote lymphatic drainage
Q: Are there people who cannot get T-Shock?
A: Yes. People with the following issues should avoid T-shock: Kidney disease, infected areas of the skin, cancerous areas, active chemotherapy, Dialysis, pregnancy, severe diabetes where sensation has been extremely lost, and T-Shock facial applications should not be used on clients who have had Botox treatments within 14 days or Filler treatments within 30 days.
Q: Explain again how I can get my face to look firm and rejuvenated with this treatment?
A: Skin ages due to a reduction in collagen and elastin. By increasing oxygen and nutrient supply to the tissue, thermal shock promotes a more youthful appearance. When applied to the face and neck, consistently, this contrast therapy stimulates the production of collagen and improves skin elasticity, effectively smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. Other benefits include: reducing puffiness around the eye and giving the impression of reduced pore size on the face and neck while lessening inflammation. Not to mention that while skin vessels and capillaries undergo a period of vasoconstriction to break down toxins stored in skin layers; an alternating cycle of vasodilation efficiently expels the toxins from the body. This process paves the way for healthy skin cells to emerge for a taut, more supple appearance of facial skin.”
